Christmas Swan

This is a small card painted for our Christmas Card Exchange at paintingfriends.com, sent to England.  I know it doesn't look very much like Christmas but in some ways with all the grays and cold looking water, it reminded me of the Christmas season.  The reference photo used was posted by Philco in the Wet Canvas Reference Image Library.

Well, I'm the lucky recipient of this wonderful card - it's even lovelier in real life. Perfect for a nature lover like me, and beautifully painted. Thanks Ann!

This is beautiful. I used to live in england and this reminds me of the river in the city of Bath. I love your blog. Love your flower paintings as well. You have quite a talent.
I have a giveaway going on right now. I would love you to stop by and enter.

I love the beauty in this perfectly composed painting. The touch of color makes the grey sing too.
