A Riot of Color

I've been wielding a palette knife and brush this morning.  This 7 3/4" x 12" is watercolor and acrylics on watercolor paper.  As you can see there isn't much of a focal point and when I did a grey scale the painting was mostly showing mid and dark values.  Still I like this just because I don't normally paint this colorful.

This is truly a symphony of colors Ann. I love how you keep red and bright blue so close to each other. It makes the colors sing.

Love this painting - and a couple of highlights around the red roses would give you the focal point - which I think they are anyway :) xx

Hi everyone! I'm tickled you enjoyed the colors in this one. It has since been modified as I tried to put in some rest areas so lost some of the brighter colors.
