Chatter

We have sunshine this morning after a lot of rain and some of the iris took a beating but these in the photo were a bit more sheltered.  One of my favorite flowers with its graceful lines and vibrant color.  Hope they brighten your day as they have brightened mine.

Thanks Ann - we always get your weather after a day or so - did you say RAIN. We are looking forward to a weekful! I, too, love iris (and peonies and gladioli) but mine will take a while to bloom.

Lovely photo of the Iris. One of my favourites too. It's inspired me to do a watercolour sketch of it. Thanks you.

We haven't had much of a spring here yet, so these colors and flowers do brighten my day, even rainsoaked. ! thanks for posting.

Hi Ann, Having completed a couple of versions of the iris, I'd like to put them on my blog in the next few days. Would you mind if I x-ref your blog with the reference photo and also a link to your blog? Regards.

Kathryn, hope soon your flowers will begin to bud.

Deb, get ready. We had more rain/storms last night with a forecast of more rain through Tuesday. Hope the storms don't spawn any tornadoes anywhere. It surely won't be long before your flowers will begin to bud and bloom.

Ann, so glad the photo was an inspiration to you. Yes, you can use the photo and will enjoy seeing your studies of it.

Novice Artist, (I didn't see your first name anywhere on your blog) I looked at your blog again this morning and I enjoyed so much your sketches. I am also enjoying your enthusiasm and can see you are off to a very good start with your art.
