River Landscape In Progress

Some progress made on the boat and the figures.  To set the center of interest I will work on the area to the left and behind the figures, wanting to keep some abstract shapes.  This is painted close to the edges of the watercolor paper and will later crop the painting.

This is going to be wonderful, exactly the kind of painting I would like to do if only I could do landscape.

This is simply fantastic Ann. I love the composition, and the colors mingling in the water. Beautiful!

I like it very much, just as it is! Reminds me of a John Sell Cotman (who an art teacher I know claims was the first abstract painter!)
