Graphite Sketch

This is a sketch of my nephew as I familiarize myself with his features.  It feels good to be sketching again.  Used a 4B graphite pencil on drawing paper.  In the drawing I will have to pay particular attention to his eyes which always appear to have a twinkle in them.

Very nicely done, Ann!!! I really like the ear / side cheek area. It looks so effortless but it shows so much. Good looking guy, too. :-)

Well done--those slightly tilted heads are always a challenge for me!

A great sketch, Ann. He will be very pleased when he sees it.

Hi Christiane, Hopefully he will be sort of pleased but in looking at the sketch the length from the bottom of the nose to the chin is a bit short. But that is what sketches are for isn't it, checking things and revising on the next one. :)
