Brian Sketch Reworked

I spent yesterday and this morning reworking this drawing of Brian. His right cheek may still be a bit too rounded but this is much closer to the reference photo. My goal is to get a more accurate drawing so for another painting. You can see the original drawings here

I think it is coming along really well! Nice Job Anne.

Thanks Dawn. I need to widen the nostrils a bit and slim the right cheek just a tad then think it will be ready to paint.

Oh Ann, I loved the others but this one looks much more natural and easy-going. Beautiful!!!

Beautifully done, Ann!

Deb & Rhonda, thank you both for the feedback. I haven't had time yet to make the corrections to the nostrils or the side of the face. Hopefully today.

Hi Ann,

I'm sitting here at the library browsing the web and stumbled onto your blog. Nice work, and the drawing here is quite good.

I also just wanted to say a quick thank you. I'm about to go give a talk and I'm pretty nervous about it, but reading your post from a few weeks ago, "Some Days", where you mention my site helped with a little boost of confidence that I just have to relax and I'll be fine with the talk. Thanks so much for writing such nice comments about my site and my work. It means alot to me today, and good luck with your own painting.

Colin

Thanks for the pleasant surprise of seeing a comment from you. I'm sure that your talk has gone very well and wish I could have been there to listen. I'm pleased that my comments gave you that little boost that is sometimes needed, as your work as lifted my spirits so many times.
