From the Painting Archives, "Hand Cream"

Hand Cream
Acrylic
Sold

Since I haven't painted in a couple of days, with minimal progress on the kids' painting, I thought I would share this still life that was painted on unstretched canvas in 2006. It was painted from a setup in my studio and later mounted on a panel.

I am also happy to say that my sister came home from the hospital yesterday afternoon. She looks ever to much better and feels better too.

So glad Joyce is back home and better. This painting is soothing in a lot of ways - appropriate for today :)

Thanks Rhonda! She is doing very well and we are so happy she is home! This is one of the paintings I wish I hadn't sold. There is something about it that appeals to me each time I see it. I don't often say that about my work, as you know.

Ha, had to correct a typo and didn't know how, so deleted the original text after copying it and reposted, correcting the error. Such nimble fingers this evening.
